  The King and the Astrologer Once there was a king. He was fond of (প্রিয়/পছন্দ/আগ্রহ) knowing his future from the astrologers (জ্যোতিষি). Very often (প্রায়ই), he called in the astrologer to his palace (রাজ প্রসাদ) and had known from them what was in store for his luck. Once a good astrologer was going to Benaras (বেনারস-একটি জায়গার নাম). The king called for him to his palace to know about his future. The astrologer told the king something unpleasant (অসন্তোষ/অপ্রীতিকর) about his life.    At this, the king became angry and instantly (তাৎক্ষনিক) condemned (কন্ডেস্ড= নিন্দা করা) him to death.
