The person who works in a farm is called a farmer. Generally he works in an agricultural field. He is a very common person in our country. There are some farmers who have own lands. Again there are some farmers who work in others’ lands because they have no lands of their own. The life of a farmer is not easy or comfortable. They lead a very hard life. He gets up early in the morning. He takes light breakfast and starts for his field. With his bulls and carts, he prepares his fields and sow seeds properly. He grows different types crops. He usually grows rice, potatoes, tomatoes, sugarcane, cauliflower, cabbage etc. A farmer has to work hard in all seasons. He works in good weather and bad weather. The farmer of our country uses both scientific and traditional methods in farming. Scientific method of cultivation is easier than traditional method. Most of the farmers are ignorant of modern cultivation. A farmer leads a very simple life. He often lives from hand to mouth. He is very generous and kind to us. He grows crops not only for him but also for the people of a country.  He plays a great role for the economy of our country. So, we should take steps for their betterment. 

অনুবাদঃ যে ব্যক্তি খামারে কাজ করে তাকে কৃষক বলা হয়। সাধারণত তিনি একটি কৃষিক্ষেত্রের কাজ করেন। তিনি আমাদের দেশের খুব সাধারণ মানুষ। কিছু কৃষক আছে যার নিজস্ব জমি আছে। আবার কিছু কৃষক আছেন যারা অন্যের জমিতে কাজ করেন কারণ তাদের নিজস্ব জমি নেই। কৃষকের জীবন সহজ বা আরামদায়ক নয়। তারা খুব কঠিন জীবনযাপন করে। সে খুব ভোরে উঠে পড়ে। তিনি হালকা প্রাতঃরাশ গ্রহণ করেন এবং তাঁর মাঠের জন্য যাত্রা শুরু করেন। তার ষাঁড় এবং গাড়ি নিয়ে তিনি তার ক্ষেত প্রস্তুত করেন এবং বীজ বপন করেন সঠিকভাবে। তিনি বিভিন্ন ধরণের ফসল জন্মাচ্ছেন। সে সাধারণত চাল, আলু, টমেটো, আখ, ফুলকপি, বাঁধাকপি ইত্যাদি জন্মান। একজন কৃষককে সব ঋতুতে কঠোর পরিশ্রম করতে হয়। তিনি ভাল আবহাওয়া এবং খারাপ আবহাওয়াতে কাজ করেন। আমাদের দেশের কৃষক কৃষিতে বৈজ্ঞানিক এবং ঐতিহ্যগত উভয় পদ্ধতিই ব্যবহার করেন। বৈজ্ঞানিক পদ্ধতিতে চাষের পদ্ধতি প্রচলিত পদ্ধতির চেয়ে সহজ। বেশিরভাগ কৃষক আধুনিক চাষ সম্পর্কে অজ্ঞ। একজন কৃষক খুব সাধারণ জীবনযাপন করেন। সে প্রায় দিনে আনে দিনে খায়। তিনি আমাদের প্রতি খুব উদার এবং দয়ালু। তিনি কেবল তার জন্যই নয়, একটি দেশের মানুষের জন্যও শস্য জন্মাচ্ছেন। তিনি আমাদের দেশের অর্থনীতির জন্য দুর্দান্ত ভূমিকা পালন করেন। সুতরাং তাদের উন্নতির জন্য আমাদের পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া উচিত।

A Farmer

The person who does the work of farming is known as a farmer. (The man who works in an agricultural fields is called a farmer.) He is a very common person in our country. Generally a farmer lives in a village. He earns his living by growing different types of crops and selling them in the market. A farmer can be educated or uneducated. An educated farmer has the knowledge of modern cultivation method. He prepares his corn fields scientifically. But an uneducated farmer is ignorant of modern agricultural tools. So an educated farmer is an asset for our country. A farmer usually gets up before sunrise. He then feeds his cows and bulls. He goes to his fields early in the morning and works in the fields before dusk. A farmer has no holiday. He works hard in the hot summer or in the cold winter. He faces difficulties when there is heavy rain or little rain. In most cases, he depends on the mercy of nature. Actually a farmer is selfishless/obliging person. He does not think for himself only. He plays an important role for our country. The GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of a country largely depends on their production. Even today many farmer leads a poor life. So the govt. should take steps to improve their condition.

যে ব্যক্তি কৃষিকাজের কাজ করে সে কৃষক হিসাবে পরিচিত। (যে ব্যক্তি কৃষিক্ষেত্রে কাজ করে তাকে কৃষক বলা হয়।) তিনি আমাদের দেশের খুব সাধারণ মানুষ। সাধারণত একটি কৃষক একটি গ্রামে থাকেন। তিনি বিভিন্ন ধরণের ফসল চাষ করে এবং বাজারে বিক্রি করে নিজের জীবনধারণ করেন। একজন কৃষক শিক্ষিত বা অশিক্ষিত হতে পারেন। একজন শিক্ষিত কৃষকের আধুনিক চাষ পদ্ধতি সম্পর্কে জ্ঞান রয়েছে। তিনি তার কর্ন ক্ষেতগুলি বৈজ্ঞানিকভাবে প্রস্তুত করেন। কিন্তু একজন অশিক্ষিত কৃষক আধুনিক কৃষিক্ষেত্র সম্পর্কে অজ্ঞ। সুতরাং একজন শিক্ষিত কৃষক আমাদের দেশের একটি সম্পদ। একজন কৃষক সাধারণত সূর্যোদয়ের আগে উঠে যায়। তারপরে সে তার গরু এবং ষাঁড়গুলিকে খাবার দেয়। সে খুব ভোরে তার জমিতে যায় এবং সন্ধ্যা হওয়ার আগেই জমিতে কাজ করে। একজন কৃষকের কোনও ছুটি নেই। প্রচণ্ড গরমে বা শীতকালে প্রচণ্ড পরিশ্রম করেন তিনি। ভারী বৃষ্টিপাত বা অল্প বৃষ্টি হলে তিনি সমস্যার মুখোমুখি হন। বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রে, তিনি প্রকৃতির করুণার উপর নির্ভরশীল। আসলে একজন কৃষক স্বার্থহীন / বাধ্য ব্যক্তি oblig তিনি কেবল নিজের জন্যই ভাবেন না। তিনি আমাদের দেশের জন্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করেন। একটি দেশের জিডিপি (গ্রস ডোমেস্টিক প্রোডাক্ট) মূলত তাদের উত্পাদনের উপর নির্ভর করে। আজও অনেক কৃষক একটি দরিদ্র জীবনযাপন করেন। সুতরাং সরকার। তাদের অবস্থার উন্নতির জন্য পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া উচিত।
