Our Computer Lab / Our School Computer Lab

 Computer is an inevitable part of our modern life. It is used in every sphere of our life. Everything on the present world is largely dependent on computer (on the use of computer). Realizing the importance of computer every country has given emphasis on computer education. Computer Education in school helps the children to get access to the extensive world of information. The present government of Bangladesh has made an aim to provide digital facilities everywhere in Government and non-government sector. To fulfill the target the government has implemented a large number of projects relating to digital technologies. For this purpose, the govt. has made a computer lab in every secondary school and every higher secondary school. Even the govt. has provided these institutes with necessary tools which are necessary for computer education. Like other schools, ours is a computer lab. The name of our computer lab is “Sheikh Russel Digital Lab”. The lab is placed in a separate building. The lab is not housed in the academic building. In front of the lab, there are many green trees around the building. It is a three storeyed building and our lab is in the 2nd floor. It faces the north. There is a big corridor in front of the lab. It has 10 ceiling fans, 8 windows, 4 doors. It is airy and well ventilated. The lab belongs to two white board on the eastern and western wall. Our lab is decorated nicely. In the lab, there are 20 computer desks. Each desk contains one laptop. Students of different classes perform/do their ICT class in the lab. Most of the time our class teacher helps us in learning and operating computer. All of our teachers have good knowledge about computer literacy. The students can operate computer during their off period. Besides, our lab is connected with active Wi-Fi network. So, we can enjoy a great facility to make a tour in the virtual world. I am very proud of my computer lab.
