Environment Pollution  

Environment refers to all the natural materials around us like- air, water, land etc. In which people animals and plants live. Pollution  means contamination of this environment. So environment pollution  refers to the destruction of the basic elements of the environment such as soil, water, air and the normal structure of the organism. In other words if the environment becomes uninhabitable for living beings it is called the environment pollution. Our environment is polluted in two ways - air pollution and water pollution.Air is polluted in many ways. Smoke from mills and factories and vehicles like buses, trucks causes air pollution. Serious air pollution occurs in big cities and big industrial areas. Chemicals and waste materials, fertilizers insecticides etc create water pollution. Every year millions of people all over the world die as a result of pollution. Air pollution causes pneumonia, bronchitis and respiratory diseases and water pollution causes cholera and diarrhoea etc. Soil pollution is also responsible for environment pollution. The global tamperature is rising due to the greenhouse effect. Today the environment of the whole world is under the threat due to pollution. Nothing but awareness is the key to protecting environment. So we should take determined actions for keeping the environment free from pollution. We can also create public awareness against all types of pollution.
