Syllable ( শব্দাংশ ) :   একটি Word এর যতটুকু অংশ একবারে উচ্চারণ করা যায়, ততটুকু অংশকে এক একটি  Syllable বা শব্দাংশ বলে । যেমন :  Farmer = Far + mer.   Mother = Mo + ther.  River = Ri + ver.  Doctor = Doc + tor.
