  Mujib Borsho / Mujib Year The Mujib Year is a period from March 16, 2020 to March 17, 2021. The Government of Bangladesh declared the Mujib Year to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the year-long program on March 17, the birthday of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. UNESCO also announced the celebration of Mujib Year jointly with the Government of Bangladesh. This declaration of UNESCO opens the door for the celebration of Mujib Year worldwide.
